Dejan Vasiljevic signs with Washington Wizards

Good on him it's an Exhibit 10 contract so if/when he gets cuts during training camp he will then play the season with the Wizards G-League team.

Here's hoping he gets a decent amount of time along with Cooks and see if he can make himself a genuine scoring option for Boomers in Paris

I didn't see that one coming.

He’s always been a scoring option; the problem was his defense. If this can improve his defense somewhat then I can see him replacing Goulding for Paris.

Great for him, but he isn't really nba level. So videos to his agent.

Do Exhibit 10 contracts every amount to anything? They seem to just be a training roster contract

Risk and reward, a few injuries to players in your position you get called up play well and you are in the nba. Otherwise yes it could be a hard slog but will have euro teams chasing you, so not a bad outcome.

Who's the guy in the Hukporti Next Star showcase video @ 3:50

Looks a lot like Vasiljevic with a United top on.

He's been placed on wavers which is slightly different - he is still part of the G league roster and is entitled to the bonus if he stays. I believe the only reason to sign an Exhibit 10 was to have a crack at a spot during the camp, with this now out of the question he should move - go Europe or even come back to the NBL.

Also seems some 'knowitall' here really know who is and who isn't an nba level, whatever that means. Plenty of Aussies at 'that' level with 2-3 really making any meaningful impact. Kudos to them for making the buck but being a benchwarmer in the nba doesn't make one a better player than someone who is currently in, let's say, the nbl. It's all about perceived potential and opportunity, there's only limited number of spots. So instead of petty comments we should actually congratulate anyone who keeps chasing their dreams.

If he's serious about having a crack at the NBA he'll hang around and play some G-League. If he manages to get on a roll he could get a call up for a 10 day when they allow those in the new year.
