Tasmania need to and should win after going 0 - 2 last week.

They have the easiest schedule this week after losing. Vs Illawarra without 2 imports and New Zealand coming off covid and travelling on Christmas day

Could be a rout, should be a rout and probably will be. JJs should put foot down and get confidence plus percentage points.
Hopefully JJs by 20.

Yep, should be a rout. Jacks by 20. They'll run the score up in the first half then give their bench plenty of run in the second.

After a good JJs start, a 13 to zero run to hawks. Magnay started well but Krislovic came in and fouled it up, no Bairstow so JJs got no one but Magnay.

Illawarra tanking as if we have an NBL draft lottery.

Hickey has played for a few clubs with not much opportunities, injuries has allowed him time at hawks to show us he's a quality player. While I’m not against the three imports rule I certainly would not extend it as some players just don’t seem to get noticed that are good.

Clint & McDonald - all offense no defense.

Kenyon & McDaniel - all defense no offense.

Going to be interesting to see the rotations when JJ's are back fully healthy.

Ok game considering hawks are very very ordinary. Froling was fine when Magnay wasn't on the floor. Magnay defensively is very good.
Let’s roll onto tomorrow game with the thought we don’t see Illawarra again till New Year’s Eve.

All the players seem to think Jackomas is doing great, If so he has some really dumb players, so many wrong opinions. Jackomas probably deserves another other year but they clearly need a shake up of players.

Hawks had 2 of their imports out and do not have depth in their roster anyway so I reckon Jackomas deserves some time (and some more players) before he gets heat.

Look how the heat is now of MU with the inclusion of Lee and a couple of Ws.

With what the Hawks have their results can only be expected. Goorjean has once again left the cupboard pretty bare and leaving someone else to pick up pieces.
Frazier has been a good pickup, just need some other impactful consistent imports. Froling is really good in some areas, abysmal in others. An experienced big next to him could make up for those shortcomings.
End of the day they are in exactly the same position as before Goorjean came in with a big chequebook, really have nothing to show for those years in terms of leaving something decent to work on.

Had Robinson not got injured the season would have played out very differently for Illawarra. They have played some pretty competitive basketball recently with Siva and Frazier in (who were two good choices) so Jackomas definitely deserves some time.

Should be better next season with only nine teams competing for free agents.
