Matt McQuade interviewed Smyth for NBL.com.au about the upcoming season (see here for full interview)

One interesting point to be taken from this interview was

MMQ: Kevin Freeman and Ricardo Greer are two names that have been mentioned...
PS: Ah, Ricardo was really more of a smokescreen than anything else.
