All-NBA teams announced

First Team:
SGA
Doncic
Embiid
Tatum
Giannis

Second Team:
Curry
Mitchell
Butler
Jokic
Brown

Third Team:
Lillard
Fox
LeBron
Randle
Sabonis

Who was most overlooked?

Couple of stories: always funny when the MVP runner-up is on the second team; and the Celtics are now in an improved position to keep Brown.

Thats happened to Embiid the last couple of seasons too hasnt it?

I think they need to get rid of the set positions or at least make them more flexible. I think the NBL does something like that yeah? Basically each ballot has to submit a 3/2 split in either direction for "Bigs" and "perimeter guys"

It's silly and the system loses credibility with the likes one Jokic in the second team. Can’t take it seriously.

Should just be the best 5 players, period. The distinction is also less relevant where many teams are effectively playing positionless basketball.

NBA must have listened to you as the announcement also says this year is the last year this will happen:
"And this should be the final time such a quirk happens. Starting next year, the All-NBA team will no longer be broken down by position — meaning the presumed second-best player in the NBA one season, such as Embiid in 2021 and 2022 and Jokic now, will not have to be relegated to second-team anything."

Thats great. Positive change. This is particularly important as it can affect a players maximum salary as well, so its more than just an award.

Quite arbitrary to have one centre too.
