Nah, SP won't ask Chelsea for help as the problem people from Chelsea went to SP.

Also, SP did take in a lot of Chelsea female players. In fact, 90% of the YL2 Chelsea players went to SP along with the coaches. I think 3 of them ended up playing in their SCW team.

Is there an investigation going on down there? Rumour is board we're forced to step down? Any idea why?

Maybe Chelsea could text Sth Pen some advice? I'm sure they'll be happy to take it.

I hope what I'm hearing down there isn't true. SP were kicking so many goals not 2 years ago, and although Covid would not have helped, those last 2 years have certainly seen a fall. I see recently the entire board was replaced, so hopefully SP can find their way back to where they were with the new voices in their. Best of luck to them.

Look forward for when the Chelsea second team (the sharks) come and play the Chelsea first team (the gulls). Talking about the women (they might have a new recruit or two from down your way bit of a surprise are all your juniors/youth league staying?). As for the men are they div 1 or 2? Long time since played CM.

The SP GM has been making a lot of statements about past board and coaches. Lots of big statements. Some of those people have ended up at Chelsea. Still have contacts at SP and know exactly what's being said and done. Not exactly professional.
The hound left Chelsea and has been on here attacking Chelsea. He took tvirtually entire youth league team.
SP youth league beat up our YLW team by 100 points. Difference is Chelsea was made up of homegrown players, who are now a year older and loyal to club. Women's team home grown. SP all outside players both youth league and womens. Already heard of exits. Best player already gone to nbl1 and making no secret of being finally happy. Why would nbl1 player leave especially one who gave so much to community.
This to and fro serves a good purpose. Two different approaches, a community based clean environment invested in their youth versus a club with a culture that turned on itself. The truth will come out but the first thing sp board needs to do is change culture by changing people. Getting rid of the two amigos from the board was a good start.
SP need to look at Chelsea who has a great GM with lots of experience. Surround with good people build juniors. Two clubs heading in different directions.

Grass always seems greener. The top coach that they followed hasn't even coached there (still has a contract though) and another coach was forced out mid season. And now the girls realise it wasn't. SP doesn't care about those players. Couldn't even get correct photos for their award winners. Those girls aren't staying they'll take the first offer to play in a club that values them. Not being used.

Sharks are just as bad and getting worse. They'll have no VC teams. Probably no VJBL 1 or 2 and maybe a couple in 3. Sad. But you force the best male and female players out !

Heard from good source that there are approximately zero kids leaving Magics from top end teams so the above is rubbish.

Gosh, shopping around an ok junior basketballer is a bit OTT! But that's basketball parents for you.

He should recruit a few good players from SP. men's side of the program really unhappy with previous coach hence they are advertising! Be surprised if anyone wants to take on that role considering the amount of coaches/staff they burn through.

#364 Chelsea have plenty of young talent. Unlike sharks who had to "recruit" an entire team for youth league who are now walking out! No sharks players in YL or SW and men's players were going to walk out because of coach!

Maybe the Women's coach at SP really wants to be the Men's coach cause they're getting more money and would make him look better?

I'd expect wants both jobs, to be more accurate. Men's coach and GM, loves the power and control

Since current board/GM in power Hillier left, men's champ coach gone, DOC got the arse. Long term state level coaches quit. Heard even Youth league coach left mid season. The three amigos ran the place into the ground. They were told this would happen but didn't listen. Should be ashamed.

Not sure about that. Board can't be held responsible for GM behaviour. Gm of any organisation is in charge of daily organisation and decisions not board.

1. Proven on these threads that is not the case. Not one junior female HP left. Male junior HP have all left.
2. Why GM publicly saying about biggest season ever?
Our senior men better than SP
Our senior women better than SP
Our youth league men better than yours
You had no youth league women without stealing our players who are all leaving
Our junior numbers are building unlike yours which are dropping.

SP are about quality LOL
Not only are HP juniors going but apparently a lot of u14 kids are leaving too.

The Hound got found out at Chelsea, and found a new home at SP. He tried to punish Chelsea by taking all the YL girls and boys. He also pushed his son into the SP program. Most of those YL kids will end up back at Chelsea, or somewhere else. Make no mistake, the reason the Hound is trying to push out the Men's coach/Gm is to get his son a senior game, because talent and hard work won't.
A message to all at SP, be very careful of Mrs Hound!

Hypothetical imagine if the person in a particular role at a made up association (northern peninsula dolphins) was "forced" or "coerced" or "shoved out against their will" and that role became available I wonder who would get it?

The Hound may well be a former GM who moved south to coach SP women, whilst trying to bring down his former club that he is a Life Member of.

The hound and the prez had a scratch my back situation. Poor GM was stuck in between. Prez gone in tears. New people in charge not long before hound gone. Unless he gets mrs hound in and they get rid of Gm. Poor kid.
