I think there's already a role for him in the Boomers.
Tokyo should certainly be the best Boomers defence we've ever seen, with him and Simmons in addition to the World Cup guys.

With Brown in charge, Thybulle is a near certainty to play the Boomers at the Olympics. He'll be great asset coming off the bench.
This gets asked a lot, we know Cotton is naturalising but is there actually any expectation that Cotton will naturalise before the Olympics? He has what, 4 months for that to eventuate? If love to see Cotton in a boomers singlet, but surely it’s highly unlikely in 2020.

Thybulle is trained to play NBA. We should not assume that his game will translate well into FIBA where systems and decision making are quite different. Also - if he does take a slot - it will be at the expense of someone who has been around the team for ages. I don't assume that just because someone plays NBA that they are a walk in into a national team. And Ben Simmons does not run our national team.

I really hate when people think NBL players are players than NBA players because they play under FIBA rules.
Thybulle is regularly playing 20 mins on a NBA finals team.
Ingles and Thybulle can split the minutes at the 3 spot.

You pick the best players regardless of which rule they play under, and nba players are better than nbl players. Better skill sets, better athleticism,
better basketball IQ. There is no comparison.

Brockoff and Deng defend the 2-3.

Deng, lmao, can't get a go in the D league. Barlow is still better than him and he should not be anywhere near the squad.
Should see Adel in November, along with creek back, Magnay, Cooks etc for boomers qualifiers.
