Game time ads on radio

Had a friend tell me that yesterdays game was advertised as being an 8pm tip off in the radio ads over the weekend.

Could explain some empty spots in the stands.

There have been a few cases of the wrong times being advertised this season. Who's doing the radio ads and who's providing the copy for the voiceover guy?
The venue and ticket sales info are always the same -- date/time and opponent are the only variables they need to take care of.

That is unacceptable.

If its true how can one organisation be so sloppy, unprofessional and unorganised about something so critical. Taking into account their poor financial and administrative performance has been put down to everything other than sloppyness and just inability to do the job this kind of example does not do much to support the actual systems of the organisation and skills of the people in place.

If this is true BASA needs to provide an explanation!

I heard the ad on 5AA Spots show Saturday morning.

It did say tip off was "tomorrow at 8pm".

Straight after the ad Graham Cornes corrected it, saying the voice over wasnt theirs, and that the actual start time was 3:15.
