At the risk of stepping forward to accept the above award, can I ask who out of Hunters Wethers, Franklin & Lowery isnt playing as an import??

Or are they allowed 3 as a new franchise for a period of time?

Lowery is naturalised. (Always has been I think, too -- remember, he was picked up late in his career from the ABA to join the Hawks.)

Is the rule still in place that allows the bottom 2 sides from the previous year to have 3 imports or has that been abolished?

Lowery is naturalised because the hawks used to have Melvin Thomas and that guy that came hear in there championship year.

The Hawks imports during their Championship year were Charles Thomas and Matt Garrison. Melvin Thomas and Damon Lowery were Australians by that stage.
