Does the $1.2-1.7 million include the deemed value of any team ownership shares, or options for shares, we might choose to include in lieu of salary?
e.g., 10% ownership at the end of 2 years? What value should we put on that? $1 million (10% of Kestleman's reported asking price for the Bullets a while back) spread over the 2 years? Or do we value it at zero, like the NBL does?
How about if we add an option to buy up to 50% ownership of the team after 2 years, price fixed at contract signing? Then what if the team's selling twice as many tickets to home games after the 2 years are up? What value should we put on the option? Zero, like the NBL does?
