I think they're suggesting that Smyth do some groundwork so that post-AIS or post-college, Ingles is more receptive to a career with the Sixers.
It certainly wouldn't hurt to try!

I have it from a very good source that in the past 6 Under 20 national Championships not one person from the Adelaide 36ers has been sighted so why would it be any diffent now

Because the declining money means more and more top players are going overseas and more players are retiring which means opportunities for players to enter NBL from a younger age.
