Candidates for NBL Replacement Player rule?

With the introduction of the new COVID Replacement Player rule ... players can be signed on a game-by-game basis should teams have players ruled out due to health & safety protocols

Will be interesting to see how teams use this rule. I'm intrigued with how Melbourne United would, especially with 2 import slots available. Might be a long shot but I could see NBL1 South imports, possibly given an opportunity. Dillion Stith - has ties to United, Isaac Turner (scoring spark off the bench), Dain Swetalla (consistent production in SEABL & NBL1 for years) etc.... Could also go a completely different route and use local players with NBL experience too - Hooley, DKD, Doyle, Acouth, Ellis etc...

Interesting times ahead for the NBL season.

It looks like Chasson Randle is hanging around with NZ as an import injury replacement.
Geremy McKay is signed as a temporary injury replacement with Rob Loe out although there has been no info on Rob's status from the Breakers.

Good to see NZ being proactive especially with their on court struggles.
