Taipans vs United, 3 Nov 2018

Second visits eighth on the ladder! Just watch Newbill rack up stats after I traded him in fantasy. Trimble vs Ware should be interesting.

No real favorite here. 50/50 game.

Looking forward to Trimble vs Casper, who's found some form.

All eyes staying on DJ Kennedy from a season point of view. He needs to show more than he has so far.

Good. can't wait to give that flopper 90+ mins of feedback on his inability to stay on his feet. I've already started drinking so I'm nice and warmed up.

Hall isn't a knock down spot-up shooter, can't finish through contact, and doesn't have a mid range game. Struggling to see what got him NBA attention.

Cairns doing well to be within 10 at this point. Still an opportunity here but need to step up.

I know OKc will be watching film of Hall anyway..but Hall chose a particularly bad game to put on a horror show with the OKC player development coach in attendance. 1/10 FG eek. Disappointing defence too and that was one of his strengths.

Terrible decision to go to a zone in the 4th...against a team that was shooting so well.

I don't think I'd draw too much from this game re: Cairns. Melbourne shot the ball stupidly well from 3. It happens. Cairns weren't great, but Melbourne would have beat any team in the NBL shooting like they did tonight.

Agree with the commentators, Cairns need help for Trimble and Newbill otherwise they're headed for the spoon.

The big worry for Cairns is their barebones bench, which makes them lean heavily on their starters. Not ideal for the likes of Jawai and Loughton.

Loe is ok and *gulp* Walker can be effective at times, but that's where the buck stops really.

Why does Vickerman play hooley ahead of Moller, they look so much better when Moller plays, let him play any where from 2 though to 5. Ware back to his best Pledger very hot and cold as is Kennedy.

I wouldn't play Moller at the 2. Defensively he can play almost anywhere with his combination of agility, height and length, but you can't have one ball handler on the floor.

I haven't seen enough of Kennedy yet, but I don't think he's really a 2 either. Ideally United should have 2 of CG, Casper, McCarron and Hooley on the court, in order to have a balanced offensive lineup.

Moller better ball handler than hooley and smarter. Just doesn't hog it.

It irks me that each of the United coaching staff were wearing different coloured shirts. It looked unprofessional. There should be a code of dress for coaches.

Way under rated and under utilised. A true team player and nice guy as well.

Anyone who watched the seabl knows Moller handles are excellent, far better than Hooly and carved him one one every time. As noted above way under utilised, and Melbourne kept going further ahead yesterday when he played the whole last 1/4.
