'Johnson' I think his name was (the DP guard, not DJ), and he looked alright. Don't know anything about him other than what I've seen this preseason though.

Larkins showed why he's a DP in limited minutes: missed shots, basic turnovers, preferred to let his center advance the ball over the half, failed iso-ball etc. Gotta love it.

I still think the 36ers will do well to make the playoffs, but I love the style of play and roster Joey has put together. I'd be happy with a ~.500 win %, so long as we compete.

Cairns will be more competitive with Walker, DKD and Jawai (theoretically) in the lineup, but they'll nonetheless be bottom. Hall, Newbill and to a lesser extent Trimble are solid, but they aren't world-beaters, and their supporting cast is underwhelming at best.

I had the same thought Isaac. Two smackings by Perth don't count as Preseason apparently. Maybe they were added to the end of last season?!

As said in a different thread, DP's are unpaid for Adelaide. So they get whoever is willing to make all training's and home games which is very few. Larkins has done it for the last few years so he deserves to get minutes in a pre season game when we are up by lots.

It's probably another LK sourced sponsor who won't pay cash and in lieu issue equity in their startup instead.

Soon all clubs will be cash poor and the NBL will become a diversified startup company fund manager.

Were those losses in Perth blitz games? More than likely (it's the advertiser after all) it’s just shitty reporting, not someone claiming they didn’t lose at all.
