This is quite funny actually. I am anonymous right now but my nickname (see if you can guess it) comes from one night I was out with a former junior teammate (who went onto play at the highest level) and needed to take shit. Only there were no toilets nearby. So, I did it at the side of the road much to his amazement and he coined a nickname for me. When I occasionally post here I use that name.

Tony Blair

Mine came from replying to a post from John Howard

I was searching for a nickname and replied as Tony Blair rather than Kym Beazley or Mark Latham or any of the ever changing Australian Labor leaders

if i had been replying to mickey mouse i might have been donald duck

You look nothing like Tony!

You have the same colour hair but that is about it. He is shorter than you, a different build, and not as funny.

Also, I am "Johnny Comelately" (from the EAGLES song "New Kid In Town")

Furthermore, due to my love of anything nostalgic (especially 80s music and movies), I have posted as "King Of Old School"

S Vidmar is a dead ringer for his counterpart. I have seen a jpeg email from S Vidmar's place of employment that had the real Vidmar showered in rose petals, and another of him crying. Dead ringer for S Vidmar, after he's eaten a dodgy curry, or trying to squeeze one out at Kym Taylor's house.

lockstock

This'll do...

Officer Lockstock is a character and narrator of the Broadway musical Urinetown. He is the head of the town's police department and is closely associated with Caldwell B. Cladwell and the Urine Good Company (UGC). While he does enforce Cladwell's harsh and sometimes tyrannical edicts, his primary concern is for the health and welfare of the people of the town.

My alias comes from me apparently looking like the last samuari. I was called this at work a few times and was also called it in a post a few months back. I am also known by a few people as Pat (as in Pat Rafter) because of my stylish pony tail.
