Just curios why isnt Rosell Ellis playing tonight against slingers Dragons are only running with 8 players.
Did he get injured last week? im sure he was predicted to play

Ellis was there .
The Dragons were much better than the Slingers who did not seem at all interested in the game in the first Q - and that put them behind for the rest of the evening.
The best player was their back up PG Kench - look the stats ! Helms and Knight worked hard - but some of the other players need a good night sleep before tomorrows match against Townsville so at least they can wake up ready to play !

Big win by the Dragons on the road and likely secures them a play-off spot unless the 36ers can make up three wins from here.
A loss for the Slingers keeps them two games behind Adelaide.

Terrible game by the Slingers . Just terrible.
The Dragons were focused , had a great 3 point % and wanted the ball much more . Inparticular Franklin seemed to find holes in the Slingers defence everywhere and the general ability of the Dragons to shoot the ball cought out the static Slingers defence many times.
Kench had plenty of drive, agression and was shooting the ball well for the Slingers . Knight and Helms fought alll night.
Chandler seemed to be somewhere else and lacked interested in the game because of the good defence by the Dragons on him ( is he going back to the PBA next year ? - at least he did not look like a player wanting a new contract ).
B. Davidson seemed to be in bad mood all night and nothing worked for him at all , Trahair was wasting the ball too many times .
You got to wonder what is going on with Pero . Before the match he was more interested in saying " hello" to the Townsville team who was watching - and he returned to the same mates straight after the match instead of warming down with his team.

Agree , I though Trahair was just inconsistent - but now you have to wonder if he is no longer interested in the game.
Pero and Trahair should be the first 2 to leave the Slingers and the sooner the better.
They both seems more interested in something else than playing NBL basketball .
Yeh i was really worried when i didnt see Ellis on the live stats as he is on my starting 5 this week. However when i checked the stats for the game last night i found that he had played!
