Individual COaching Sessions

Im in the dark again!! I keep reading about individual coaching sessions at Clubs. At my Club I have never come across this happening - is this "Secret Basketballers Business" Can someone "in the know" please epxlain - who does them, what clubs, how much they cost? and I get the impression from some other posts that these sometimes have more than one B/Baller in a group. Begs the question Individuals? or is that term referring to the Coach?

Less than in the know but here's one perspective.
Many clubs use there senior players partly for revenue for the senior player and of course for the benefit of the junior player.
Some experienced coaches are sought by players to round off their game for them at a cost of between 25 -60 bucks an hour depending on many factors.
Some coaches offer talented (subjective) players additional training sessions (thus its referred to as individual instructions).
Some JDO's take this role on and offer juniors extra coaching.
Some clubs offer small groups specialised coaching sessions.
Many ex and present 36ers run clinics and few but some will take on a talented junior.
But be careful source how much the going rates are and the quality of the coach as sometimes big names want big money and you don't always get your money's worth.
Some country state coaches run individuals, some metro coaches run individuals but these are invitation only.
So you can see there are many types of individuals on offer.

Mushroom... Have you ever asked your coach? That may be a good start.

Most of them will not advertise, as most do not have a lot of time, but are more than willing to help those who want it, or at least know somewhere you can go to get the training you need.

I believe Forestville conducts individuals at no cost to the players and with one of the division 1 junior coaches or the coaching director (JDO) himself (usually on Saturday afternoons). Feel free to ask around
