Pasadena The Answers

Finally it is going to happen.
Successful tenderer has the job, Floor gets pulled up on Jan the 8th, target completion date March 19th.

This is a complete new floor, the contractor is the same as the Dome, Starplex, Wayville and more.

Lets hope all goes well - and Sturt can recover, recharge and recuperate from the losses it has experienced during this tough time for the Club.

Maybe some Sturt people might now have a better understanding as to how difficult it is for clubs to opperate without the luxuries of a good bar and canteen facilities, not to mention a great 3 court training facility. Dont get me wrong, it will be great to have this facility back for basketball in general I just hope that those who have the use of this facility appreciate it and perhaps show a little more understanding for those clubs who do it tough all the time.

Sturt people do understand this issue very well, the Club went through a similar period with the fire, It was not for this length of time however, as the old Forestville stadium become available.
Pasadena has been closed for six months now, with another 4 to go.
Any Club without these opportunities to earn money have it tough, it is even tougher when you are structured based on a certain income, and then it is yanked away. Woodville if the dome falls over, Norwood if they loose the carnival for examples.

"Target completion date March 19th"

Remember all of the "target completion dateS" when Pasadena was first being built!

lets hope they get the clearance distance right between the dirt an the boards - it was too shallow last time (only approx 1 metre)
