Fight Night - Today 7:30 at the Dome

A physical game is expected tonight between the Adelaide Lightning and Sydney Uni Flames. Boti Nagy has termed it a "flak jacket and army fatigues affair".

(Nat) Porter, Trish Fallon and Eva Afeaki are notorious for hooking in the low post and Michelle Musselwhite's reputation as the WNBL's equivalent of Damon "Flopper" Lowry precedes her.
...they don't mind a bit of biffo...
The Lightning have regained Sam Woosnam for the match, but will be missing Kristen Rasmussen and would appreciate a good crowd behind them. The game is at 7:30 at the Dome.

trailed the majority of the game. Won 64-63 or 65-64....
Porter fouled out with about 5 to go last qtr. Much to the enjoyment of the awesome crowd. Her 4th was a tech foul on 3/4 time.
We were 5 down most of the game til young King hit 2 massive 3 point shots late in the 3rd.
Phillips in her 100th was absolutely outstanding... 24ish points and plnety of grunt.
Sammy was great.... and great mins from Gahan and Foley.
This side just continues to suprise. An AWESOME effort by the girls.

Bummer that Syd didn't get the W but well done to Adelaide, sounds like they played well!

lol! go Nat! ... she wasn't happy with the refs a couple of weeks ago either ...!
