Stats on the Scoreboard

Hi All

I would find the stats shown at half time far more informative if number of shots taken and made for each of FG, FT and 3PT were displayed, not just percentages. For example 6/10 60% FG etc. Does anyone know if the scoreboard would be capable of showing this information?

In recent years it had been very rare that the scoreboard even works properly with the basic information, would be very surprised if it could handle much more than it already does

The score is limited because of the LED nature of the screen, perhaps eddie can buy us a new screen for next year

My observation is that there is enough LED's in each row to display the additional information... check it out at the next home game, I think they could do it if they wanted to......

The scoreboard in Brisbane is crap. It just lists the players name, number, points and fouls. In Adelaide it is a bit more advanced, when it is working.

Sturty, all we have is number, name, fouls, points.

Sonic is talking about the stats that go up at half-time - I'm not sure how they're done, but the program and computer that run the cube look like they were born in the Stone Age.

Sorry, the Brisbane scoreboard doesn't have the points.

Perhaps Eddie can also buy a massive screen and show CGI (computer generated images)of crowds so it looks like a full house

The half time stats that go up are provided straight from a printed box score from the stats bench.

new cube will take 4 weeks to build, and 2 weeks to install.
more than just a rumour as an off season activity as it has already been costed.

So if it comes straight from a printed box score, you wouldn't think it difficult to just type in the additional information (assuming the room exists of course).

How would we find out if this is the case?

Naturally, the installation of a whole new scoreboard (particularly one that works all the time) would be even better!
