Shaq out, Heat vs Knicks (spoiler)

Shaq will be having surgery on his troublesome knee the Heat announced before tip off today before their game against the Knicks. He will be out 4 to 6 weeks.

To add insult to the injury, the Heat were destroyed by the Knicks 100 - 75. D-Wade had 20 points for the Heat, while Jamal Crawford top scored for the Knicks with 19.

Will be very interesting to see how the Heat can respond to Shaq's absense as they were shakey at best without him last season and haven't exactly opened this season too well either.

Doesn't this just show you how valuable Shaq is? When Shaq plays D-Wade plays so much better cos Shaq demands doudble teams.

The big fella may not put up huge numbers, but he sure as hell is valuable.

The Heat WILL NOT go back to back

Shaq IMO shouldve retired at the end of last season.......go out a champ big fella

a broken down old hack? the guy is the most dominant player in nba history. as 52 said, numbers arent an indication, heat would have smacked ny with him.
