From what I understand, Rogers was a chance for a while but has signed in Europe. So, the NBA/Euro big-man plan is off, I think.

Any news on what Derek Moore is doing then ?? We really need that starting centre of some quality. If he signs then we will definately push for top 4 !

Sorry people have heard nothing further yet!!
Isaac.......I may not have been hinting at Rogers....there is one person you have forgotten!
Will update in due course......when I have all the facts.......

Helliwell, no NBA experience?
Anstey, signed.
Rogers, signed.
Vasiljevic, no NBA experience.
How big a big man are we talking?
Previous NBL?

I know that this is an extreme longshot, but what about, Luc Longley??? Sure, he's a little old but he's tall and what the sixers need. If not, Mark Bradtke??? He's signed with Melbourne but he could opt out of his contract.

Seb you are joking arent ya???
Im pretty sure when he was paid out the remaining years on his US$10s of millions contract he would have had enough medicals to make sure there was no chance of him playing again. Not only would he bother but he would probably get sued if he played again.

Not saying we have a chance of getting him but while we are guessing of Australians/Kiwis with NBA experience, someone earlier mentioned Sean Marks.
He is a damn good player. Is he still in the NBA? I haven't heard his name mentioned for a while.

Selected by the Knicks in the second round (44th overall) of the 1998 NBA Draft & draft rights traded by the Knicks to the Raptors, along with Charles Oakley and cash, in exchange for Marcus Camby (6/24/98) & signed by the Sonics to a 10-day contract (1/18/01) & signed as a free agent by the Heat (10/1/01) ... signed by the Spurs as a free agent on 9/29/03

Couldn't be surely....just won the Italian Finals MVP...he'd be worth $$$$ over there, double our salary cap!

Libertine, before you cast judgement......have I led anyone astray in this forum before......I think not.....my info/headlines have always been on the money.......I am sure many in here would back me up on that....
I never put anything on the table in here that isnt 100 confirmed......so to you I say - TAKE A BIG LONG HIKE - I never see you posting anything new and exclusive in this forum, all you do is comment on other peoples info.......when you have got some runs on the board then maybe you can have a go at me and others........until then shut the @!#@^#@#$ up!!
As many in here would know, my juice IS always right!! I DO NOT NEED TO MAKE ANYTHING UP!!!
Its dim-wits like you that accuse people of making things up, that make forums like this unbearable........if you dont want my info......fine, dont read it or maybe i'll take it elsewhere......
My sources are the most solid sources anyone could have......

Lets looks at it...
Points cap wise....
Maher - 5
Farley - 10
Holmes - 5
Rychart - 10
Ng - 4
Nash - 6
Forman - 5
Rees - 4
B.Williams - 6
leaves 11 points....any player that is returning from OS would automatically be 10....wouldnt leave a lot of room if one of the "lesser lights" got injured.
And there arent many Aussie / NZ big men around that have previous Europe / NBA experience, barring Sean Marks.

Are you saying Isaac that you
have been sent a letter threatning you and or people that post on this forum as far as peoples opinions on players and admin staff are concerned?
Isaac
Years ago
Yes, I have been, and Yogee and DJ have also been contacted by the 36ERS.
I would clarify "threatening letter" as a letter saying that legal action will be investigated/pursued over the matter unless comments are removed, and that action would be pursued without warning if defamatory or offensive messages were posted in the future. The general public might fairly consider that to be a threat, and I certainly consider the "without warning" component to be unfair, but who knows, you can probably get in trouble for terming it a "threat".

Isaac that is crap! Who the hell do they think they are?
This is a public forum and legally there is not really much they can do. It is an opinions colum. Nothing more. Exactly the same as "letters to the editor" in the Advertiser. I think you'll have at least 10 people to back you up on that. I personally think they are playing games, to put some fear into the equasion and to stop the "chatter" about the club.
Bags would you like to call your next witness??

Exactly.
I imagine this is in reference to the article written for Ozhoops, which vanished, as did posts here asking why??

You guys are forgetting Ben Pepper. My mail is the Sixers have been looking at him for a few years now.
Ben Pepper. Did he play in Europe? He was drafted into the NBA, but never played.
I think the Breakers are hot on his tail though.

Isaac, does this mean that Fact man may appear on Judge Judy? It will be great exposure for the game as it's on free to air TV.

Seems like they would be better off running the club than running around sending letters to people who are promoting their product free of charge.
I refer to my posting of Cubans quote....the sixers can not buy word of mouth advertising and this forum is giving it to them

They are getting upset because they know I am right......if I wasnt it wouldnt bother them......
Im contacting my own legal on a few things that I may bring to the forum soon........people have a right to know.......
For the record my legal tell me that it would be a tight squeeze to take someone to court for voicing an opinion (which they have a right to do) in an open public forum (would probably be a test case at best)........if the sixers want to start doing that then they may have to take everyone on including jurnos.......this would not be the best advertising for the club especially after the "letter" affair we had earlier in the year......
Isaac, I will stay of the air for a while until my legal get back to me as I do not wish to get you in any trouble as you do a great job with this forum.......
Libertine, apologies I took it the wrong way......
