Under 18s Girls and Boys Div 1 'WHO'

Just curious....under 18 Div 1 Girls and Boys who will be strong and finish on top. New season new players....some teams look huge what I've seen.

Yeah my 18 boys team is huge. I dont know how it worked out we were all in the same team. The point guard is really big, and the smallest one is still above average

Oh, we're also tall and solid as well.

yer the boys 4 sounds correct, dnt think west will be as successful as they wer in under 16s. mi tip is sturt 2 dominate and run circles round ne1 hu attempts to come close 2 beating them.

r any of last seasons 16 1s, going straight to 18 div 1???

Story around the traps is that the North Under 18 Div 1 Girls team have got 9 girls in the side who have played State Basketball. Is that true? Would that be a record for a club DIV 1 team to have so many...who will stop them, thank god I have a boy!

the north-norwood-state-team combo will be the team to beat, although the Mavs will be tough with the best player in the comp, and Norwood should be tough as usual, Sturt, Forrestville, and West will also be around the mark.

Patto, if you and Matho don't produce this time, then you guys should be under fire....
As for shoe ins, North were hot favourites for the 16 girls this year with a lot of state players and fell over. Forestville had 6 or more SASI and country and metro state players and didn't look like winning all year.
Norwood and Sturt for me have talent, Woodville will be strong but Mavericks are a bit thin on across the court talent but who knows? North are hot but Shoe ins often slip off.

i think the div 2 competition could be slightly lopsided if more than 1 or 2 of the under 16 sturt boys dont play division 1

sturt might take 1 or 2 talls from the 16s because they already have a strong line up

woodville u18 girls have picked up a north div 1 player - expect them to do well with 3-4 girls in their abl squad or at least training with them

Dreaming is what its all about! North and West are out there but any of the teams on their day could knock off any of the others. Daring to dream you can is better than reading, listening to and hearing nothing but put downs on players and their clubs.
Maybe some suprises in the wind this season with some more established clubs not doing as well as expected.
Live the dream.
