Just curious to see what peoples thoughts would be on our sixers taking on the thunderbirds at a game of netball, i was talking to a mate at work and we could not come 2 a conclusion.
i say that the boys would be too big and fast the girls, but he says that the boys wouldnt be able 2 adjust to their rules...
...hope this doesnt come around as a stupid topic.
Is there goal tending in netball?
If there is the girls would not score.
If there isn't it may still be tough to get a shot off even with the 3 feet rule. Imagine the T-bird shooters trying to shoot over Cooper and Wheeler!
They would also struggle to defend us just - no three seconds so just stand under the hoop and wait for a nice lob pass.

Nice idea, but i dont know what value it would serve to either team ?
Besides the way we are playing at the moment the jokes associated with "playing like a bunch of girls" would be too easy !!

sixers in a whitewash. most of the guys are at least 10cms taller then the girls... it would just be a game of keepies off. maybe if they were all the same height it would be different. and the boys would still be quicker then the girls, its just genetics. IF you trhough the ball up in the air the vert of a boy is better then that of a girl.

As for lobbing the ball, isnt there a rule that prevents the ball being passed more than 2/3 of the court at one time?? Not sure, been many many years since I played mixed netball (and you thought basketball was a "non contact" sport!)
