To all those or just to the one or two people that have decided to Rubbish what I do and what Bear Basketball is about please read.
To say Bear Basketball is about making money and that's it is so narrow-minded. Yes we are a business and yes we have costs that we need to out lay (equipment, court hire, coaches etc) so yes we do need to make money to survive. Im sure that the companies you work for provide a service and need to be paid to keep employing you, just because my company revolves around basketball doesn't mean its different.
To say we are just about making a profit is totally incorrect. Im sure that I would be making a lot less than the majority of wage earners, money isn't and wasn't the motivation for me to set Bear Basketball up. I did it so I could have more of an influence in the development of our sport but at the same time allow myself enough time to do the things I need to do in order to develop as a coach, things like visiting other programs etc to learn more.
My passion is basketball and I feel privileged to be able to work in the field of my passion.
I know that the kids that participate in our programs do enjoy it and do get better.
I would never have a problem with someone else wanting to be involved and do more for the sport of basketball and I definitely would never knock them. If those of you out there who are having a dig, do have a real issue with me or our programs please contact me to discuss, but don't hide behind anonymous posts.
We will always look to start new things to help provide more opportunities for juniors to get better and to get more kids playing basketball. I do not apologise for this. I hope this helps you to understand our motivation and that you can start to support what we are about.

I dont understand why people want to try to knock something that has no impact on them or they have nothing to do with it. If anyone offers a service and people want to pay for it why should they not make a profit (not saying thats the case here, but who cares if it was)?

Some non-sensical, ignorant, hating, loosers who live on a different planet are above. Join the real world then come back here and post.

PS: Im a consultant, my hourly rate is $130 per hour, there is plenty of demand. I, like bear basketball provide a service.

Good onya Justin for following your passion, maybe the knockers on here should do the same then they wouldn't feel so negative about their life and have the need to have a go at others
