Well Done SA Boys
Just returned from the 14 Boys Nats in Ulverstone.
Well done to all 3 SA teams, Sturt Norwood and the Mavs. Sturt finished 3rd, Norwood 4th and the Mavs 12th.
Norwood beat the eventual winner Norths by 10 to qualify and knock Dandenong out of the medal games - a fantastic effort.
Sturt then beat Norwood in the play off for 3rd / 4th.
The Mavs were just beaten by Keilor in their playoff game but it went down to the wire.
There is no doubt with a bit of luck and better preparation (less illness and injury) that we would have had at least one team in the gold medal game.
Well done to Scott, Nicole and James on the way they coached their teams and did the state proud.
To all players from our 3 teams - you performed well and displayed great sportsmanship.
