Apparently the food last night was supplied by a new catering company. I didn't go to buy food myself but apparently they didn't even supply hot chips! Seemed to be mostly balfour products and hot dogs. Did anyone else expirence problems in selection? Don't tell me I'm going to only be eating hot dogs all year long!

What happened to the roaming Coke/Giant Twin sellers? Surprised to see them go -- I can remember many times over the years where I would never have bought food or drink if they hadn't come around offering it.
Were they around last year?

Spot on Jirachi. My fella and I went hunting for them and couldn't find them. Very sad!

I for one am devastated to see that there will be no nacho's this season. Best nacho's in town, they were!

They only had 1 person serving at the bar at 1/4 time and 2 at 1/2 time. Both with no clue how to serve a bar, very disappointing.

Yep, without question. I loved the old Dome/Powerhouse nacho's. Will be sorely missed. Lining up for 20 mins before a game won't be though! :-)

On a different topic, there was no merchandise stand. I am sure they will have one soon enough but everything feels like they weren't ready for the season. No advertising etc..
We can only hope that the team winning (I may have underestimated this team - they are looking good) will bring in the fans.

Yeah they had the merchandise stand ready, with an eftpos machine with no phone line! Had to scab $10 off my mates to get a $70 singlet with no name or number on it.
To get a players name and number costs $30 extra!!! So from $50 last year to $100 this year! No thanks.

I won't be eating Hot Dogs all year, not at $5 each anyway.
Looks like Sixers Games should be good for my waistline, can't afford to eat there now!!!
Don't count on the hotdogs DC. Mine last night was barely luke warm and they'd run out of cheese. Not Happy.

have heard that people were waitning for over 20 minutes to be served drinks from the bar and missed a lot of game time action......nice way to look after the punters!!
Apparently at Townsville they offering to the supporting clubs the opportunity to run Food Stands outside. This give the club a chance to fun raise etc. What about it??? A bit of a Carnival atmosphere. Or is it too much of an effort?
I love the guy who won't be paying "$5" for a hot dog. "Not at that price" Hahahahahahahahaha!!
