fastest Guard in Abl History

Would have to be Dyl Hicks from the panthers right?
That Boy had some speed... especially at soda room taking off down stairs from all those fat girls that he always attracted...

For real tho, any others?

I had to guard both Ben Osbourne and todd Matthews, and i think Ben takes it but not by much!!! Ben was much harder to guard because he could flat out shoot from anywhere!!!

Import from one of the Vic teams called Donald Whiteside.

Was about 5"8 and could go like hell the guy even made the cover of Sports Illustrated due to his height and quickness.

I think Todd Matthews is the fastest player I have ever seen. That guy is a bullet! A few times this season I have never seen anyone run so fast.

I think there are two separate categories here:

Fastest without the ball
Fastest with the ball

Hicks for example was fast without the ball but not as quick with it. Someone like Spadeveccia from West seems to get faster when he has the ball if that is possible (which can be a problem for him at times). While Matthews is just bloody quick regardless. I'm not old school enough to comment on some of the others.

have to be Al Green (if he fit's the ABL criteria). He won the Bay-Sheffield!

not once but twice he won it.. ask him, he'll tell you all about it :)

How is that not the quickest???

he claims that he used to get called for travel because the refs couldnt believe he could get from spot a to spot b in such a short space of time without travelling..

Scott Ninnis at his prime was regarded as the fastest in the open court in the NBL and that would also include the ABL.
Watch some old Sixer games.

Chuck Norris is the fastest ABL guard in history.

And he did it with a bodysuit riding up with a complete cut lunch too.

There is a difference between straight line running and running on a basketball court.

Nunnelly was quick! Henderson was quick as well!

for speed, Ng and Cioffi are quick to create an open look for themself.

Nunnerly was serious fast, Matthews showed this season he hasnt lost any pace and wont anytime soon.

Watson from Central has some quickness about him.

BUT, overall, any great guard is quick, right?
