Norwood win both at Mt Barker
Flames women won 53-44. Hurst 10/6/5 and 5 steals, Fryters had 12. For the Mavs, Hilton had 14 and Williams 11. Flames were 13/20 from the stripe, while the Mavericks only managed 3/6.
The other game looked like it was one to have seen - Flames got up 97-93 despite a 32-27 last quarter advantage from Eastern. Holmes went 5/8 from outside and had another triple double - 31, 13 and 10 in 43 minutes. Madgen went 6/20 from the field for 15 and 8. Hill 19 and 11.
For Norwood, Webber had 24 while Coops had 20, 17 and 4. Eastern got up 10 more shots, but weren't as accurate from anywhere on the court as the Flames.
Norwood are fighting for finals positions on both ladders, I think, so this result should go some way towards making things interesting. Cooper's game also doesn't hurt his Woollacott chances.
