Congratulations to the U18 metro girls from south australia in bringing home the bronze medal. For something that was probably unexpected and all the spice about selections they have done a great job. Well done girls!
Yes Well done to all the girls and coaching staff. Not bad, Bronze Medal , with no hight!! considering some of the comments after selection, goes to show what determination and committment can do. Good luck to the girls for the future!!

I think the girls did a great job and were well coached. Was their group easier since the gold medal playoff was between two teams from the other group? Had they been in that group it is not likely they would have made the medal round.
The controversy over selection really didn't matter as the two players who made the team were never going to have big minutes or much influence on how the team performed anyway. I feel for the forwards who played against girls bigger and stronger all week - they did a great job, but how will it have affected the way scouts viewed their performances?
Who knows how a team with a more traditional balance of centres/forwards/guards would have performed - maybe even better??

sa girls where in the group with the two grand finalista and bet nsw adn went into triple over time with qld and only lost by 5 points bad luck girls yuo done a really good job.. GO CAYLA AND EMMA have an awsome time in china

CONGRATS 2 the SA team on coming 3rd! they did well for a team who didnt have much tall and strong players!!! and i loved how the girls beat VIC Metro WELL DONE ;)
