who won?

I dont know this coach, but how embarrassing for him to have a topic relating to his beahviour!

Glenn is a coach who puts a lot of time and effort into the game and his team. He has a good group of girls who are working hard but are not capitalising which would be hard for any coach to handle, not to mention the players themselves. lets be honest sometimes we all let our frustrations get the better of us. Do not slander anyones name and say that their behaviour is disgusting until you put yourself in their shoes, his heart is in the right place.

you should file a grievance with the club if this bothered you. i would rather glenn spit the dummy away from the team and talk to them rationally then going into the room as a raving lunitic. And for the record there was no damage to any part of the stadium.

I would like to see glenn reply to this - he seems to reply to everything else!!

Give the guy a break. To echo the sentiments of whoever wrote post #84289, Glenn is an extremely passionate and dedicated coach, who's efforts are appreciated by our team and a lot of people involved in our club. Glenn puts in a lot of hard work behind the scenes to try and prepare our team as best he can for each and every game. He rightfully expects a lot from his players, he undeniably has a lot of faith in every single player on our roster and he's not getting the results he knows he should be getting from the team so therefore he is understandably frustrated. I have seen a lot of coaches become 'animated' during games, just like I have seen my fair share of outbursts from players and even spectators.
Being out at basketball on a Sunday, I am assuming you are a fan of the sport, and regardless of which team you were out there supporting, I am sure you have also witnessed outbursts by coaches, players and even spectators before. Unless you single out every outburst that you have seen, I think it's unfair of you to post on a public website to intentionally humiliate somebody. You are well within your rights to be offended by what you saw, and if in fact your actions are to try to eliminate such outbursts, rather than just publicly humiliate someone, I dont think posting on this forum is the correct way to go about it. Like mentioned above there are more appropriate avenues to take if you wish to express your grievances. Perhaps have a think about what result you were trying to achieve by posting such an issue on this website, and think about whether you went about achieving those results, respectfully.

seems as if it was a humiliating weekend for him all round. fair enough he puts a lot of time into his team and preparing them but doesnt mean he has to put on a show. if it was a true reaction it would be a different story but knowing glen it was more than likely just for show.

Glenn does get a lot of shit on this forum. He is a good coach, he has great passion for the game and womens bball in general. But all that is sometimes over shaddowed by his 'tantrums' perhaps anger management classes are needed at marion??

Glenn has no one to blame but himself for any shit he receives...wake up man
