WheelerWatch: vs Ringwood Apr 29

Brett Wheeler was missing from the Sandringham boxscore last weekend, but was certainly back for this week.

Wheeler went up against Jason Eversteyn and Ringwood and played 42 minutes for 24 points, 17 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 steals. 9/21 from the field and 6/8 FTs. Eversteyn had 4 and 10 in 34, Brett Rainbow had 17 points, Nathan Crosswell hit 29 with 7 assists and Marcus Timmons posted 16 and 12.

Nice game from Wheels.

And the Ringwood side includes former Melbourne and West Sydney player Luke McMillan so plenty of size for Wheels to go against

Two games this weekend for Wheels, Saturday night & then a second game on Sunday afternoon.
Came away with: -

25 pts (9/14 FG's), 12 rebs, 4 Blocks, 1 assist 1 steal
then
16 pts (6/12 FG's), 14 rebs.

Was fouled out in 34 minutes in 2nd game.

Still seem like reasonable stats for someone making a comeback after over a year off.

Marcus Timmons went for:

18pts (6/19 FG's), 18 rebs, 3 assists & 1 steal
than
33 pts (11/17 FG's), 16 rebs, 3 assists & 3 steals.
