Woodville v Norwood

didnt see the womens game but heard the norwood won by 20 or so.

The mens game was one of the best games i have seen this year. very high intensity fast paced game. both teams really wanted to win. in the end the warriors got the win by around 10 points. great team effort, showed more signs of last year form. one mention to ryan willis though, showing he is another promising woodville junior coming through. 4 or so points but close to 10 boards against the norwood big men was a great effort. please add more. was a lil one sided but ya no. well done warriors

good to see the woodville women more competitive, at least they are not getting blown away like in past years. Lots of improvement and with some young juniors plenty of promise for the future.

the men are beginning to show glimpses of last years chemistry. Ryan Willis in the last few games has shown he belongs in this league.

i do not know what to think of the peckerettes

they held sturt in 1 quarter earlier in the season - yet hit 13 from 81 shots v west this weekend

they have some good juniors coming through - not a lot but some quality players

ryan has been a reasonable post player for many years ......

was very fast paced early. finals like intensity. best for woodville was puddifoot and cam followed up well from his big game on friday. pleasing signs for woodville, greg pascoe and gary birmingham played well for there minutes and found the touch early. mapunda also stepped up and grabed some great boards. so a few of the younger guys starting to find there form. R willis was also solid and showed some form espicially on the defensive glass. positive signs all round for woodville men.
