Sixers; 2 Year deals!!!!! What the?

Well Congrats to Mike Daws, the 36ers dithering board and Phil Smyth on giving Nashy a two year deal. No blame to Nashy here, top bloke.

So to save face and try and blame other people in the failed negotiations of Dusty, Oscar and Jacob, they give Nashy a 2 year deal. How?

The Government has only backed them till 30th April (more likely 30th June), then what?

Oscar and Dusty both asked for two years and didn't get them. Smyth the master of twisiting again trying to save face...

Coach G. Don't take everything posted on here to be true.

What gets posted on here is mainly rumour and conjecture.

Not sure of the details and haven't read Boti's article, but is the second year an option? Dusty was offered an offer conditional on the coaches. Forman wasn't. Not sure re Holmes.

Do players have the ultimate say in where they want to go or is it more their management.

The Dragon's website hasn't even announced that they have signed Jacob Holmes.. or have they? (i cant see it anyway). Are they excited to have him or what????

It is such a shame to lose Jacob (and Oscar). Two plays that had an enormous amount of potential, home born players etc... it sucks!! When I heard I was so angry and yet so sad at the same time. It's a real shame. Hopefully one day they will return. Would be great to see Jacob captain the sixers.

75550, without a doubt, the players. Their agents' jobs are to source offers, present them and negotiate on their behalf. They might provide information and contacts that can help with the decision, but it is ultimately up to the player. Remember, it is they who'll be making the move, not the agent.

Hey while we are at it lets make sure the sixers, or the state gov, or whoever is calling the shots these days, give cooper a two year deal.I have heard that unless you can play a bit they are giving out 2 year contracts to the first 12 people that turn up on the Dome's doorstep tomorrow.
