Schenscher grabs 8 boards

In accordance with the precedent set on this board of mentioning anything Bogut did in his first 10 or so games I think it's appropriate to mention that Schenscher grabbed a career high 8 boards today in 15 minutes. He was 1/1 from the field for 3 points, but before you get carried away the third point was from the foul line after 4 attempts.

He's shooting at 75% in 8 games, 9 from 12, not setting the world on fire statistically but more than holding his own in his limited minutes.

Found this little snippet on Luke while reading about Ben Gordon:

Luke Schenscher would be hard-pressed to win a foot race, but he has found a way to impress Skiles. "He's actually been one of our better help defenders," Skiles said. "He reacts well."

If he's impressed tough-nut couch Skiles, hopefully will lead him being signed for the rest of the year and should help him in establishing himself long term in the league.
