Luke Schenscher watch

In case you've been asleep, you might not release that South Australia's very own Luke Schenscher is playing for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA! For those of us who haven't thrown out our 1980s' Bulls shorts, it's a big thing.

I checked his stats today and in his first four games:

- @ Cleveland, 12 mins, 4 points, 1 rebound
- v New Jersey, 7 mins, 0 points, 2 rebounds
- @ Detroit, 4 mins, 0 points, 0 rebounds
- v Clippers, 2 mins, 0 points, 1 rebound

Here's hoping he gets at least another 10 day contract or perhaps even signed for the rest of the year.

Game 1 - 12 mins
Game 2 - 7 mins
Game 3 - 4 mins
Game 4 - 2 mins

I may be wrong but it sounds like he may be on his way out the door.

na, i see him comming to the NBL in south dragons rather then sticking in the NBA... his first game was decent... but i dont see them keeping him.

He is only a rookie remember. He's getting just as much time or even more than a lot of other rooks.
I think they will keep him, at least til the end of the season.
Hopefully he gradually gets more mins and by the end of the season has done enough to earn another contract.

Still, if he gets sent back to the NBL, maybe he can wear his red tracksuit around town with Vince Vaughn's red velour version ..... ;-)
