terrorism and NBL Asian push

Reading Boti's column a referral was made to a NBL game in Jakarta.
Surely given today's events one should be very cautious.

I know we just had the olympics - but that was under the world's spotlight - with international interest.

China, Singapore - looks good to me.

Phillipines, Malaysia ?

definitely no Indonesia for me - not for a little while.

Unless security of a profound level could be granted.

OK then, off you go. DFAT is advising against all non-essential travel to Indonesia and I think national teams would heed that warning.

I'd be surprised if Jakarta was the site of the game -- probably Singapore or KL.
