put gerlach in as back up to maher, and yes, that team could win it all....haha, not that gerlach would be a factor, but i am a southern fan, and think gerlach is hugely underestimated...all court game...one of best defenders in league??

Isaac, it looks like a great side bar the fact we still do not have a back up point guard. Who is on the market that would be ideal for a backup that will play small minutes. Wonder if we should go with a rookie for that spot or look at a player with experience (Jason Williams???).

Goulash can definitely play the game & his future looks bright.
He is a more than solid defender at ABL level. He has natural defensive instincts, excellent timing, helps & recovers well.

However, at this stage of his development he cant defend the ABL's premier point guard - Paul Vandenberg.
To do so, Goulash needs to put on some kg's first & that looks to be a few years away.

Someone who's always on the money with their rumours has posted on OzHoops saying that Brad Williams is expected to sign with the Sixers. So that's probably the three the Sixers are expected to announce -- Farley, Rees, BWilliams.

I agree Bootney, Gerlach does need to put on afew KGs but look at a guy like Ng. He is a twigger, and he has made himself a nice place on the 6ers squad.
Brad I think has the mental capability, like Darren, to not let the whole "beening a 6er" thing, go to his head. Unlike afew of the (hopefully completely cut) guys who were sitting at the end of the bench last year.

There is a snake in my bag!

I here ya j bags.

Brad Williams has been a journeyman since leaving the Kings. He's a 3 man with a good handle, fairly inconsistent J, more of a slasher, has good hops & by all reports is a top bloke. Solid NBL player who can create his own shot.
Pretty much suits Phils style of play.
