Getting on in years

Just thinking about the ages of some of the Nbl Referee's
Many of them would be close to hanging up the boots

It's worth considering the chance of many going at the same time and reducing the experience.

Bill Mildenhall from Melbourne

Ed Crouch from Melbourne

Ray Hunt - Recently reached 800 games from Melbourne

Geoff Weeks from SA

Allan Goddon Melbourne

Ian Watts from Sydney

Shields from Brisbane

I think that is it, because Hollywood Mal has already finished up.

The likes of Mayberry and Scott Butler are ready made replacements who will be around for ages.

Gawd Bear get with the times

Ed Crouch retired a few seasons ago
Allan Godden has been in located in NZ since the Breakers started so make that at least 3 years

Ian Watts is a victorian and Roger Sheils is from Sydney

You forgot Steve Bignell in your mix.

Scott Butler, Aylen and Mayberry are probably already mid 30s

be looking to the Phil Haines, Damien Thiez to be around for ever

And besides Bear if Mildenhall, Shiels and Co can still ref at that level, they still have the fitness, the joy for the game I'm all for letting them whistle on.

Sorry, at least I had there names except Bignall who is from Brisbane
Im not saying they should retire, just saying they need to give more games to younger refs

to increase there experience quicker.

Weeksy will ref til he is 70 anyways

he he
