From what i have heard in the last week or so, ABA rosters are yet to be finalised in many cases (both Men & Women). It's a little early to be making any title predictions with at least a couple of serious changes yet to come...

Watch this space.

with the roster that SOuthern have bought, they, along with F/ville and Rockets would have to be contenders.

Over in the West, Finch has vowed not to cut his hair for the whole season, and grow a porn moustache.

This may or may not have a bearing on the success of the team, but should be entertaining nonetheless.

NEED to finish no worse than 4th? I would agree, especially with the amount of recruiting Southern have done this year. Just more pressure on the coach.

There is no pressure on the Southern's women coach. They have finish around the bottom of the table for the last few years. All he has done is brought some players back to the club. A few years ago a lot of senior players went to South. Some have returned and some have joined them. People keep saying what about the players that are there. Well they have had there time and if goodenough will make it. Question what would have happen to these players if no one had left? The answer is the good would have made it the rest would not have. This is from what i have read on here. It seems to me all he has done is made Southern women into a true ABA team where players have to fight for there spots and work hard. I'm sure the other bottom clubs would love to do the same. Get over it for god sake! Get back on the subject and stop trying to turn evey topic into a Southern womens topic. Its getting BLODY BORING.

I disagree BA. When a cleanout occurs, there is always pressure, unless the cleanout includes all young kids and this is used as a rebuilding process. Agreed though that they are getting back a lot of players that left a few years ago.

A lot of the players returning to Southern womens team (from South)are not returning to play for the Club - they are keen to play for Noel and would have gone to whatever club he was associated with. In turn, these players recommended him to others who were keen to return to playing or change clubs.

The girls have a very healthy respect for him as a mentor, coach and leader. Noel should receive all the accolades for a strong team this year.

Why is the Forestville mens coach still trying to poach players from the Southern team. Disrespecting other teams programs at this time of the year is a disgrace. Maybe u should try actually developing some young Forestville players instead of throwing money around to try and poach other teams players.

Last time i checked F/Ville have approached every 4/5-man from every club u/10's and up.
Southerns bigs were approached by many clubs, maybe they thought they could give them the ball this season??
Having said that good to see the Bigs have stayed loyal to there club, should be an interesting time in Tiger town this year...

I do agree with you in the know but looking at the coach at training the last few weeks he doesn't look like he's under pressure at all. In fact he's looking very relaxed and that is showing on his players. They seem to be enjoying what they are doing but I can't believe how intense it is when they scrimmage. Is it alway's that intense at all clubs? I like to sit and watch them after my social game. Its a good perve as well!
