specialist camps

Just got the flyer from BASA for Specialist camps on 4 January.

Great idea for specialist camps for guards and forwards, but $75-00 for a camp which only goes from 10am to 3pm with time off for registerering and getting started then more time off for lunch? You would be lucky to get 4.5 hours of training and then you would be vying with 47 other participants for court time. This is not one on one training but a heap of time will be spent waiting and watching.

$75-00 for this is not value and I cannot see that BASA have done their market research properly. They surely would not be trying to make the juniors prop up the 36ers?

With Dusty being involved in the Bear Basketball Camp, i think my child would rather be taught by him as opposed to going to a camp that is ran by people he doesnt know, i know where my dollar is better spent.

With Schuler not at basa anymore, who would be delivering these camps, he was the only level 2 coach there, so no one else would qualified. are they brining in specialist coaches, cos other wise specific camps would be a waste of time if they dont have someone decent to deliver them
