Shooting Development Academy in Adelaide
Hi Folks,
A heads up for Adelaide junior basketball players who are looking for dedicated shooting development, I will be conducting a shooting academy over the next few months. It's called The SNIPERS Academy.
If you are serious about becoming an elite shooter, or you want to have your shooting touch "on point" for State Champs and Melbourne Classics, SNIPERS is the program for you!
FYI - I’ve been developing the shooting habits of professional players, including NBA players, for the better part of two decades. The SNIPERS Academy will be using the drills, methodology and teaching points I’ve used over the years to develop these elite shooters.
The SNIPERS Academy is a 6 week program. Each session has a maximum of 8 players so that every participant receives personalised attention from me.
Some of the areas we will be focusing on are:
Hand placement
Wrist and elbow movement
Balance and Base
Lifting the ball efficiently to your release point
Transferring power from your lower body into your upper body during the shooting motion
Shooting off the catch, off the dribble, and off movement.
Shooting from range
Decision making - choosing when to shoot
......And a whole lot more!
The cost for SNIPERS is $350. There are two timeslots:
U16s, U18s & U20s: 3-4pm
U12s & U14s: 4-5pm
All sessions are held at "The Baller Factory" - Unit 7, 4-8 Deeds Road, Camden Park on Sundays. They will be held on the following dates:
4th May, 11th May, 25th May, 1st June, 15th June, 22nd June.
