Didn't see this coming but is only interim so still out there for his real gig.
But if he's heading overseas would this complicate things in the short term.
Former Cairns Taipans coach Adam Forde is set for a new challenge, taking on the role as interim head coach for the men's international 3x3 team.
Forde will be in charge for the next two international tournaments.
"I’m excited about the upcoming tournaments, and any time you have the opportunity to be involved in an Australian national program, it’s a real privilege and honour."
Four-time NBL champion Greg Hire will be assistant coach.
