SABL 2025 WINTER SEASON REGO OPEN at MARDEN BASKETBALL CENTRE:
SEASON STARTING SATURDAY 5TH APRIL @ MARDEN BASKETALL CENTRE
We are excited to announce the start date for the season on Saturday April 5th - we are one month away from starting. The season will run through to August with Finals in late August/early September.

We already have 19 teams registered - we will be limiting at 24.
It is an Open Men's competition* played on Saturday afternoons between 1-6pm. Our Division 1 is a high level competition (District Reserves/District Div 1 level), Division 2 is a good A/B Grade Social level and Div 3 is a good B Grade Social level.
2025 Winter Season
· Perpetual Champion Cups, Championship Flags Grand Final MVP
· Division MVPs and All Star Teams for each Division
· All games broadcast live to YouTube
· Realtime game and player scores online
· Three Point Competition during the finals (broadcast live)
· Players of the Week for each Division
· Engaging social media + Podcast
· Ozloom sponsor the competition - all uniforms ordered through Ozlooms get discount
· Last season - we did a Mid-season Tournament, and had liquor licence for special game days
Game Day
· All games to be held at Marden Basketball Centre between 1-6pm
· $80 game fee (subject to review)
· $100 registration fee (subject to review)
· 1 hour game slots
· 4 x 10 minute quarters
· No draws – games go to overtime until there is a winner
· Clock stops for timeouts
· Clock stops in final three minutes
Requirements
· Consistent uniform must be worn – jerseys must match by end of Round 3 (or uniforms ordered). Shorts must be block colour but don't have to match.
· Must be over 18 (with exception)
· Must understand that forfeits are the cost of double the game fee $160
· All players, coaches, managers and spectators must adhere to the Code of Conduct
2024 Season was our best yet, this season hopes to be even better!
*If we can get 6 Women's teams or 6 U23 Men's Team we will run those competitions too.
