Just want to say I think it doesn't give an existing player much chance of transferring out if a club accepts transfer players right at the end of the transfer window.
Technically they are locked into that club if outside of transfer window.
One IMO flaw of the window system.

The number of transfers between clubs was surprising for me.
Seems that those who weren't happy about being in a lower division for their current club then transferred out to a club who would have them in a higher division.

usually the case but the wise person looks at the club, what coaches and who you are playing with before jumping ship.
my original post was - I know of a club accepting transfers immediately before the portal closed - and then planning on bumping players a week or two later - outside the portal - hence player can't transfer that season.

Last month
When's the transfer window? Not complaining about kids court time or whatever. More concerned about a genuinly struggling coach, who's lost nearly every game thus far having issues communicating with young kids and who's team is actually regressing week to week. Holding my tongue obviously, but it's either transfer or just quit - my kid would be better off working with me in the backyard at this rate lol

Plodder, can completely understand where you're coming from. We’ve been in exactly rhetorical same position and my son almost jumped ship to a different club but stuck it out and then went into the semi finals before bombing out the following season.
I believe the transfer window has finished.
