SEM v JJs 5.30 AEDT

Should be a great game, JJs playing with there backs to the wall normally beat all the odds. Can Phoenix bounce back from loss to kings. Hurt and Sobey got perform better than against the kings. If Deng plays imo JJs can win this in a close one.

Deng isn't playing, extremely minimal chance we see him again this season

Would Sixers fans rather see Tassie or SEM get the win? I know the obvious answer is SEM to win, but with a couple more games in hand, it's not impossible Adelaide could take 5th if they keep on rolling?

Drmic a late game withdrawal with illness.

No Drmic, Deng, MacDonald or Magnay.

Tasmania will have a rotation tonight of

Crawford/Stoddart
Doyle/Brown
Steindl/Hummer
Te Rangi/Woodhill
Krslovic/Gak

No excuse for SEM to not win comfortably

JJs rolling early, 23-19. SEM to many turnovers, simple ones by Hurt and Vadonavic. JJs are never beaten

Only JJs could make a run for the title, even if SEM get away with this game they just don't play D good enough.

They gave it their best, but Tassie are gonna run out of bodies, and run out of energy. And that applies to both the game and the season for them

JJs running out players, credit to King getting his side playing tough in second half so far playing Ayre and Kenyon.

Ben Ayre plus 40, Wieskamp 5 blocks, 8r and 20 points. JJs have run out of quality troops, the recruiting of Hummer and Terangi does now look inadequate, plus Roth can't still keep pull rabbits out of his bum.
Both Kenyon and Ayre should look for teams that can get more playing time, to good for back bench players.

Kudos to SEM playing together. Sobey has re invented himself to be team first and I am one who did not see that happening, he gets to the bucket dishes out assists and is not pinging up hero ball 3's - respect.

JJs had Magnay, MacDonald, Deng, Drmic out ....along with Gak playing unwell and Doyle getting an ankle injury.

That is 5 core players out, good time for the younguns ie Stoddart and others to get some court time and re tool for next year.

Will be interesting to see the line up next year have said every year they need a scoring 4 man (eg Hurt) and it is now the time.

Yep the recruitment of Hummer was ill timed and a bad move by the JJs.

Scout, Roth said during the Presser that Stoddart is not DP eligible next year. That is disappointing because I don't thing they can use a full roster spot on another guard although Roth didn’t completely rule that out.

KL - yeah will be interesting what happens with the JJs list.

Stoddart has done enough

You are right guards are not the priority for the JJs they need talented bigs.

They should just cut Brown's roster spot next year and give it to Stoddart
