SEM @ Cairns 14/01

SEM rolling along very well, but Cairns will be looking for a big performance at home after a couple of very good away games.

SEM without DWJ but that hasn't seemed to matter too much to date. Makoi zero loss at all for Cairns who are pretty much at full strength.

Tuesday night is different so hopefully we still get a good crowd in after the NYE sellout. And fingers crossed for a Cairns win.

Could be a beauty, Cairns should be right in this, certainly if they get a bit home cooking on SEM bigs. SEM by a wisker.

SEM by 5 at quarter, entertaining game, not very physical though. King really got this side looking good, all players no there jobs. Gak went well for cairns got two fouls though. Hunter is tough, my sort player.

Cairns by one, SEM led by 10 plus but got sloppy, iso. Hunter been tough but other than that all a bit soft. I keep saying it and imo eventually it'll catch up with them, Vadonavic just doesn’t defend well enough and to hot and cold offensively. Sobey, Glover bit iso. Edwards, Groves and Gak turning up for Cairns.

SEM by 4@3/4, they haven't looked that good, lot of iso. Taipans just having a free hit. I e bagged Sobey for his iso but he’s got the best plus on the floor.

If you ever want to see the difference a coach makes this game is a prime example.

Just me, or did that seem like one of the fastest games in recent nbl times? Usually a 7:30 tipoff game isn't over till after 9:30, this one was done and dusted by 9:10

SEM just keep rolling, Hunter and Hurt are so solid for them, King knows it, so he gives Vadonavic extended minutes so he knows the system well in case either of Hunter or Hurt get into foul trouble. Cairns just not in the same class, Forde needs to change his roster next season, get decent blue collar guys, spend his money on better imports, he's still got two million to spend.

Prather wife with Hunter, Hurt and Sobey is excellent, she is quality reporter.

Hurt, back to back 30 point games, first in SEM history. After originally being poor defensively King has him humming at both ends. Finally Mitch who, SEM management has finally got it right.

"Prather wife" is Ariana, if you're going to compliment her, it’s a lot more meaningful if you use her name. And, I agree, Ariana Prather is an excellent sideline reporter. She has extensive experience in the NBA, WNBA, NCAA & now NBL.

I'm bad with names, it wasn’t meant to be disrespectful, I’ll try and remember next time, though at my age I’m not certain.::::)))) she is very good though.
