CLUB STATEMENT:

The Sydney Kings have voided the contract of newly signed US import Lamonte Turner after he failed his team physical since arriving in Sydney.

The Hoops Capital club will not make any further roster changes to close out their NBL25 season.

The Kings will return to the court tonight, hosting Melbourne United from 7.15pm AEDT at Qudos Bank Arena.

So many brains in management and ownership group at kings and they make stuff ups like this, yes smith is still a part owner but would never happen under his control. I don't necessarily hate Sydney, but I do have a bit of a chuckle the way it's imploding with the money they've spent their side/coach (on paper at least).

Yip. I don't care what franchise it is. I dislike any orgs that rather than strategically build a balanced and sustainable roster simply throw money at a bunch of stars, especially when they focus almost solely on offensive minded players

Yep, I don't think many people outside of Sydney have much sympathy for an organisation with some loud-mouthed, cocky owners (who do a mostly a great job for their club btw) when things go pear-shaped for them.

Bruce and Cooks big for kings, such a crap start, their best offensive players are generally crap defenders.
White and Delly big for united. Great start got the win. After first quarter kings probably got 50/50 calls but I thought ref did a good job.
