United at kings 7.30 AEDT

Now this should be a beauty, two top coaches, both riding the refs could be the deciding factor. Good match ups across the floor. I'm going for United as kings guards will be peed off with the new signing and disrupt team harmony. Melbourne by three.

CLUB STATEMENT:

The Sydney Kings have voided the contract of newly signed US import Lamonte Turner after he failed his team physical since arriving in Sydney.

The Hoops Capital club will not make any further roster changes to close out their NBL25 season.

The Kings will return to the court tonight, hosting Melbourne United from 7.15pm AEDT at Qudos Bank Arena.

Well, well, well. I'll still stick with united. So many brains in management and ownership group at kings and they make stuff ups like this, yes smith is still a part owner but would never happen under his control. Is it the Goorj get out jail card, I’ve always been a big fan of Goorj but this seems so stupid from start to end.

Goorjian will be spewing, but his PR people now have plenty of spin.

Kings 16- 32 United, let in 32 points. Cook two fouls and they are short of bigs. At this stage it's as dumb a side I’ve ever seen coached by Goorj.

Agreed Kolzee. Their season is on the line.

I don't necessarily hate Sydney, but I do have a bit of a chuckle the way it's imploding with the money they've spent their side/coach (on paper at least).

Yip. I don't care what franchise it is. I dislike any orgs that rather than strategically build a balanced and sustainable roster simply throw money at a bunch of stars, especially when they focus almost solely on offensive minded players

And on the other hand I love how MU manage their club and roster

Yep, I don't think many people outside of Sydney have much sympathy for an organisation with some loud-mouthed, cocky owners (who do a mostly a great job for their club btw) when things go pear-shaped for them.

Totally agree RE the timeout. Players seemed like they were tuning Goorj out.
Sydney's offence is so iso and then check up a bad shot.

Why is adams not on the court? Is it because of his shooting? Even though goorj wants an extra PG so adams can sirens more time at SG??!

I don't get it.

It's as if the NBL wants to play at full pace no matter what nowadays. Whatever happened to calming the farm a little and having some composure.

Ridiculous shot selection.

The end to the fourth quarter looked like a game you'd see at the local rec centre where everyone wants to go full pace but realistically can't be bothered running so you end up with constant one-on-one fast breaks. Facepalm.

I'm with you PW but it exciting. No love lost by these two side.

Bruce and Cooks big for kings, such a crap start, their best offensive players are generally crap defenders.
White and Delly big for united. Great start got the win. After first quarter kings probably got 50/50 calls but I thought ref did a good job.

Oh look, it's the cherry on top!

What a shitshow.

Hopefully Illawarra improve and take the championship since the JJs keep being screwed over by injuries. The rest of the teams are garbage.
