Very good game, SEM did shoot themselves in the foot but kings to good down the stretch, possibly tiredness. Refs were very average from first quarter to last, called some rubbish on much soft rubbish. Hurt non existent in the last, played just under 35 minutes, I've said all along they are a tall short, certainly on the D end, not certain why Vadonavic got a bit more time, certainly when they were leading, should make finals but the 0-5 start will haunt them.
Kings massive down the stretch, Adams and Cook, Maluach on D just what they needed. The ball and refs rolled their way but they were always going to be at the pointy end. Bruce and Oliver also did well. Noi on offence. It’s taken long enough but Goorj put Leafa where he should be, on the end bench.

Rosen unbearable to listen to when the Kings have their tails up. Would've actually ejaculated at the final buzzer I’m sure of it.

Rosen's always been unbearable especially when doing Kings games. He bleeds purple & gold. Played his whole career for the Kings and towards the end despite being a benchie they made him the captain of the team.

It's one thing to be a devoted and proud club man but as he's unable to even remotely call Kings games objectively, which has always been a problem for him, the onus is on the NBL not to put him on.

Spot on. Le'afa's shocking season and Galloway's injury is exactly why Goorjian wants another piece in the backcourt. While in terms of usual team balance a frontcourt player makes sense, in terms of how Goorjian wants this team to play another quality guard is essential.

Will this line-up work in the finals without a genuine C? Not sure, but it's the style Goorj is betting the house on.

Yes they did let the ball stick as King said in his presser, he also mentioned that his team went from one foul in the third quarter to three in the first minutes of the last. Good point, the home cooking imo went down well for the home side. I thought King should've got Kenyon on to when Adams started his run as well, probably also Foxwell. Still a very good game, he wouldn’t cop the excuse of tiredness. The 0-5 start was always going to bite, still a chance of the six though, probably can’t win it though.
