Wow thats huge if true. Basically a Delly like player (in his prime at least). True floor general that can play D and gives 110% every game.

If Leaupepe is out for a while, I don't see this helping there big man stocks, certainly if Oliver isn’t doing what Goorj wants.

Anyone has got to be better than that Shannon Scott rumour.

Ryan delivered that 2016 game winning assist to Jenkins in the ncaa title game. A golden era for the Wildcats.

If true I hope he works out, but I still have no clue why Goorj thinks a ball handling guard is what the Kings are missing instead of a legitimate 5 man.

I still can't believe they let Hunter go, surely the best five man in nbl, certainly at present with Magnay sidelined.

Big call there, Dunkman. I agree with the first part of your post, "I still can't believe they let Hunter go,". but you added. "surely the best five man in nbl, certainly at present with Magnay sidelined". Comparable, (local), 5 men in the league? There's Frolling, Humphries, Harrison, Cooks and Pinder. That's every other (local)5 man in the league.
Hunter & Magnay definitely deserve to be there too, but IMO, the 5 men in this league, this season, both local and import, all deserve fairly high praise. Great bunch of bigs!
However, Hunter at the 5 and Cooks at the 4 (his preferred spot, I think) would have been electric. Back up 4 would be between Oliver and Leaupepe. As a local, I'd pick Leaupepe over Oliver, sorry Cam.

Agree with AngusH that their biggest issue is at the 5 spot.
They got manhandled inside against the 36ers.

The Kings need both! Davis tore them up because they had no-one to guard him! He just blew by Adams for fun all game.

Wow, big name however has never played abroad.
Goorj sure knows how to get funding.

Kings signing Shannon Scott would've been perfect ... for every other team in the league.

Exactly right perthworld. He'll suck every last cent out of ownership. Doesn’t alter how deep their pockets are, they will eventually wonder "at what cost"

There will be a lot of smug smiles when Kings don't win the trophy, even with Goorjian and big spending and poaching talent.

@ Rob T, I like my five big and strong, Pinder and Cooks doesn't do it for me, I’d take Hunter, Magnay or Harrison as my five if I’m selecting. Lee as an import also very good.

Kings didn't like the Asia-out re: Hunter. With the benefit of hindsight it looks like a massive mistake, but I figured he'd 99% be playing in Asia for big bucks and I assume the Kings felt the same

I love this - is fun to watch them throw money at the problem and I'm pretty confident still get beaten by his old team with a modest roster. If not also by MU and others. But what excuse is BG gonna come up with once this doesn't work?? Can't wait for the next installment!

Kings won't win championship this year ,second import Oliver is struggling more minutes on the bench than on court ,I think he’s injured and don’t want to pay him out ,big man who can play defence as they have scorers around him. Another guard won’t fix their issues ,they need a power forward Harrell with less of attitude who can do both ends

@Dunkman, so do I (like my 5 to be big and strong). "ManMountain", aka Dean Uthof is probably my fave 5 of all time in the NBL. My point is that they are all better-than-good. Also have my preferences, but would not complain too much with any of them as "my" starting 5 (yes I would).
Back to the thread subject, Ryan Arcidiacono. First thoughts are similar to most above re what Sydney need (if anything).
They had Glover, got rid of Glover and now need Glover back in a Kings' uniform to do what this untried guard will be expected to deliver. Still have Bruce and Le'Afa both of whom will prob be so pissed that they may be looking elsewhere for their future.
Hey, Brian. Did you approach Matisse to fill this position? (He and Xavier could have compared stories of how they nearly made it to the Paris Olympics, but didn't!)

Serious question.
What is "Spoiler" when it appears on menu (as on this post)?
Did I do wrong?

The OP labelled his topic as a spoiler.
You can't post a reply with that label so it wasn't you.
Is that what you mean?

Thanks Perthworld.
Part of your answer is; "You can't post a reply with that label......". But I did?

Ok, I always thought that a "spoiler" was like telling me the game score while I'm still watching it.
Thanks again.

Yes, that's what it is for. OP mislabeled the thread.
