Bullets at JJs 29/12 2:30pm aedt

Should be a decent game, Tassie are the hottest team in the league, Brisbane want to bounce back after a loss to the Hawks. No Adams for Brisbane just yet, wait another week. Tassie still haven't lost at MSBA this season, and don't see that changing today. Tassie by 6

Yes, agreed. JJ's showing steady improvement, have settled after a shaky start and regained the respect they deserve with steady ladder improvement. Bullets, too, but a pleasant surprise rather than an expectation. The absence of Batemon has obviously been a bummer. Very quickly fixed with the signing of Adams but won't help in this game, a game that could/should weaken Brisbane's ladder position even further.

Assuming Adams is the right guy, there's plenty of time to recoup but who needs that sort of pressure, at this stage of the comp?

Simply because the Bullets need this win much more than the JJ's do might give Brisbane a look in at an unlikely W, so I am going with Bullets in a very tight game.

JJs in Hobart, Roth v Scheuler, the JJs are not letting this slip, got this by 12.

Hummer should be warming into things this game. Recruited precisely for these types of assignments on Prather. Does look like he has a lot in the D kit bag. If he can quell Prather then JJs should have this comfortably.

Bullets will be desperate, so unless things go right for them from the start then I could see them losing by 15-20.

Roth >> Schueller as a coach

Horrible second foul call on Bannon, Hummer clearly pushed him in the back first. Bullets hanging tough early.

52-44 to JJs, bullets just lacking a bit class, JJs near unbeatable in Hobart. Deng length troubles teams at both ends. Doyle just warming up. Harrison and Prather trying to keep bullets in it. Bannan been good but early fouls has hurt him, I'd start him in second half ahead of White and Prather to the three.

Just not in the same league bullets, trying hard but just not good enough.

JJs by nine, it was a good game, bullets didn't go away but just out classed. All teams will be looking over their shoulder as the ants are marching.

Yeah, Bullets did well against an impressive Jumpers unit

JJs remaining home games: SEM, Adelaide, Perth, Illawarra, Cairns.
They'll win minimum 4/5

Away games: Illawarra, NZ, Sydney, SEM, Melbourne
Will win at least 3/5

At worst will finish with a record of 18-11.

There's something about Roth as a coach people were laughing at the gak signing in preseason his improved massively since going to Jack jumpers

Great game to be at.

Bullets kept having a crack, with extra pass in offence. It was clear they were trying in offence.

The defence of the Jackjumpers is next level... love watching them.

The all round game of Drmic is under appreciated.

Gak getting more minutes spreads the floor for the JJs.

NBL season is wide open - Hawks / Sydney / MU favourites.

JJs / Perth next up

Hawks, JJs kings,
Gak was a good signing last season at SEM, problem is they don't know what makes a good player and he sat on bench behind sauce who really is a media pet and ok but not great on D.
Sixth spot will be a fight out between bullets and SEM, top five safe imo, just order to be sorted.
JJs love being the underdog but it’s a myth.

Naaaah Dunkman - JJs have no flat-out shooters, gun 3 /4 players definitely not in the top echelon

So Doyle Crawford Sean Mac and Clint aren't capable shooters?

@ Scout, that's the underdog myth. @ Baller has probably covered it, Crawford is one the best big time shot maker in the league. I’d add Deng to that list as well, it did give me a nice laugh though.

Banter - I love it

Doyle Crawford Sean Mac and Clint would be classified as your out and out gun

Fair bit to play out for the season....it is enjoyable.

Humble and hungry

Not arrogant

Seeing what would prevail between the Hawks offence or Tassie's defence in a 3 or 5 game series would be fascinating. Though of course we do get 2 more chances to see that this regular season

Doyle Crawford Sean Mac and Clint would "not be" be classified as your out and out guns at the 3/4

Deng and Drmic have gone to another level and Gak is flourishing. That is where they have picked up in quality from last years roster. Terangi's D is also unheralded. JJs didn’t seem like they were out of 2nd gear for a lot of that game. With Magnay coming back in for the post season you won’t want to be playing them in any type of series. The sum of the parts with this team is off the charts. What if the biggest announcement of all happens on Wednesday? They would then be championship favourites.
